When Pat Norton, VP of Operations for Carter Lumber, was considering the build-out possibilities for Carter's latest acquisition in Johnsonville, SC, he knew he needed a single-source solution.

The Project

While the 19-acre property in Johnsonville included three legacy buildings, it was essentially a ground-up project that was designed with growth in mind. "Carter Lumber is a great partner - they don't hesitate to look forward, and we were able to build out the site with a 15-year growth plan," said Clint Darnell, VP of Sales for CT Darnell Construction.

In only 10 months, Carter Lumber's Johnson City location boasted five brand-new buildings, covering 50,000 square feet, all with easily accessible inventory.

Norton says the experience was one of the smoothest construction projects he's ever been a part of.
