Our Company
CT Darnell Construction was founded in 1987 in Atlanta, Georgia. It was originally a warehouse racking company that specialized in rack systems for big box retailers and building material facilities. It was founded by Alan and Angie Darnell, and its original name was Sunbelt. Their sons, Travis and Clint, joined the business in 1990 and 1992, purchased the company in 2008, and continue to lead it.
The Darnell family has 4 generations of construction experience. Drawing on that knowledge, the company's offerings expanded from racking to also include metal buildings and full general contracting. They have successfully completed projects in over 4,500 facilities.
Our Company Today
Today, CT Darnell Construction is the pre-eminent provider for the building materials industry of design-build general contracting, metal buildings, and Sunbelt Rack storage systems. The company supports every level of the building materials supply chain from manufacturers and wholesalers to big box retailers and independent lumberyards.
They work in all 50 states, Canada, and the Caribbean. They are one of the 10 largest metal building contractors in the country and are a leading provider of metal buildings and rack systems for the data center industry.
